LLG Architecture Helps Make History with Florida’s First 3D Concrete Printed Dwelling

At LLG Architecture, we believe in pushing the boundaries of innovation to create practical, sustainable, and obtainable housing solutions through 3DCP designs. Today, we are proud to announce our role in a groundbreaking collaboration that has led to Florida’s first 3D Concrete Printed (3DCP) Dwelling—a significant step toward reshaping the future of housing.

Through a strategic partnership with Precision Building & Renovating, LLC (PB&R) and their subsidiary, Gulf Coast Additive Manufacturing & Design LLC (GCAM&D), we have embarked on an exciting new journey to explore how 3DCP can provide cost effective resilient, sustainable and insurable housing that is a scalable solution for many communities in need.

For the past five years, PB&R has been researching innovative construction techniques to address the affordable housing crisis. Their focus on 3D printing technology aims to bring real world solutions to urban areas, using large scale 3D concrete printing to build infill housing throughout cities.

“The objective for this series of homes is to build infill houses throughout the city utilizing large scale 3DCP technology, allowing us to gather valuable research data in real world conditions,” says Kyndra Light, CEO & Co-founder of PB&R and GCAM&D.

This project would not have been possible without the dedication of an incredible team of collaborators. LLG Architecture, Keaver-McKee Engineering, Sinter Form Designs, Level Up Media, and many mentors and community supporters played a vital role in turning this vision into reality.

Beyond affordability, durability is a core focus of this project. As Sarah Lower, Principal Architect at LLG Architecture, emphasizes:

“Affordable housing shouldn’t mean temporary or fragile. With 3DCP technology, we’ve designed a home that can withstand time, weather, and environmental challenges—providing long-term stability for homeowners while maintaining accessibility in the housing market.”

This milestone is just the beginning. As we continue our work with 3DCP technology, we are excited to explore new ways to design and build homes that prioritize sustainability, efficiency, and affordability without compromising on quality or longevity.

At LLG Architecture, we are proud to be at the forefront of this architectural revolution, proving that technology and design can come together to create lasting solutions for the future of housing.

Follow along as we continue to innovate and transform the built environment!
