Clay Street, Tallahassee, FL

Located in Tallahassee, FL, this 1440 sqft, 3 bed, 2 bath, 3d printed dwelling, was designed in an effort to respond to the housing and skilled labor crisis the US currently faces. The efficient floor plan and unique construction methods lends the owner flexibility and durability in a culture where affordable housing is typically rigid and poorly constructed. The bedrooms are lined up on one side of the plan while the living spaces enjoy and open concept with a generous kitchen perched between the dining and living spaces. The bathrooms are stacked back to back for efficiency in  construction, materials, and maintenance. The walls were printed with Printed Farms’ COBOD BOD2 printer which included all exterior and interior walls on a pre-poured slab. The wall system includes the structural, electrical, and insulation components. This dwelling is completed with a truss and shingle roof and standard size doors, windows, cabinets and fixtures. This project was completed October 2022.
